Established in 1990, R S Thom became a limited company on 3rd December 2000.

Prior to setting up the company, Richard Thom entered the insurance business in 1976 as an agent for the Prudential moving into broking in 1980 with Walker Frampton. Following a takeover by Clarkson Puckle, Richard was transferred to Cambridge as an account handler and later moved to Edward Baldwin.

During this time, he built up a strong and loyal list of clients and, since starting up his own business, has consolidated the company's position as it has steadily grown over ten years.

Much of the business comes through referral. As a general insurance broker handling both personal and commercial lines, R S Thom specialises in providing a personal service backed by professional expertise and solid experience.
