Beach Lodge Guest House

Martin and Faith would like to welcome you to Beach Lodge, a family run Guest House which offers quality en-suite bed and breakfast accommodation together with high standards of service. Beach Lodge is located in a quiet tree lined avenue only a few minutes walk from Southbourne’s Blue Flag beach and promenade which can be accessed via a zigzag path or cliff lift. Southbourne Grove which is also only a few minutes walk away provides a selection of well known and independent shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants.

Beach Lodge is an Edwardian House built around 1910, which we have renovated with a lot of care and attention to modern standards whilst retaining the original period features you would expect, such as the ‘Minton’ floor tiled hallway leading to the main staircase, which takes you to the guest bedrooms on the first and second floors. The Lodge has eight comfortable guest bedrooms all en-suite, is non-smoking throughout and we have off-road parking for 4/5 cars with unrestricted street parking in Grand Avenue.

All the guest bedrooms have good quality beds, their own generously proportioned en-suite bathrooms with either a shower or bath. The bedrooms have complimentary toiletries, white bath and hand towels, hair dryers, tea/coffee making facilities and Freeview Televisions. FREE high speed Wi-Fi is also available for our guests.

We have a full range of local attraction leaflets and guides detailing places to go and things to do. We also have a selection of books, magazines and board games available for guest use.

We are ideally located for Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole, Boscombe, The New Forest and The Purbecks which are all within easy reach by either car or public transport. Pokesdown train station is less than 15 minutes walk away (0.6 miles) and very regular bus routes only 5 minutes walk away on Southbourne Grove.
