Founded by experienced High Net Worth Independent Financial Advisers in 2006, it was felt that an opportunity existed to provide a unique and highly personalised service around the core values of integrity, trust and service.

In order to achieve this high level of service the latest technology, where appropriate, has been adopted.

To date, the business has achieved both regional and national recognition for the quality of our advice and the innovative business structure. We have expanded to incorporate a nationwide client base from its original roots in the North East of England.

We have additionally been able to undertake expansion in terms of staffing and office locations, with the opening of our Edinburgh and South Coast Offices reflecting the continued growth and reputation of the business.

CDC have been awarded Chartered Financial Planner Firm status from the Chartered Insurance Institute. As a Chartered Financial Planning firm, we must ensure staff members acquire and retain the necessary knowledge and skills to deliver the highest quality advice. We must also work in an ethical manner that places clients’ interests at the heart of the advice we give. We are extremely proud of this achievement and believe that with only a very modest percentage of firms achieving this status it once again demonstrates our commitment to becoming a leader in the industry
