Fireplace Installer is a small, family run business established in 1953 by Tom and Joan White - now in their eighties. In the early days we were just Chimney Sweeps. However, we are now CORGI registered gas installers, HETAS approved for solid fuel and City and Guilds bricklayers.

We specialise in stove and fireplace installation including hole-in-the-wall type fires, and for the benefit of our customers have produced a full portfolio of fireplaces installed by us. We take great pride in our work and therefore work to a very high standard, having all the latest equipment to either sweep your chimney or install your new fire or stove, ensuring that your home is left as tidy (sometimes tidier) than we found it.

We are reliable, trustworthy and always polite. We strive to keep abreast of the market, always attending courses as they become available. We are always happy to discuss your various fire and chimney matters before the commencement of any work and based on this will provide you with a written estimate detailing the work and costs involved. This is a firm, fixed price with NO hidden extras.
